IconNameDescription
PopulationThis icon is usually used in asociation with current population size, or how much population is required to construct building, or to produce unit.
MoneySymbol of money represents either actual amount of empires currency, energy, or work labour - depending on the type of empires economy. For production, or trade, this is the total value player must pay in advance, in order to start the production (constructions, units, ships) or transaction. In case of research, it is the total research cost, but actual costs are substracted during the research progress as part of empires balance.
UpkeepIcon similar to money, but with the clock, represents value of money per basic game cycle, which is one minute. In case it is upkeep, it means that displayed value is substracted from your account every minute. Also the value of colony taxes is added to your account every minute.
MineralsAmount of minerals in your colony warehouses, or fleets cargo space. In production, it is the amount of resources required in order to start the production of building, unit or ship.
ChemicalsAmount of chemicals in your colony warehouses, or fleets cargo space. In production, it is the amount of resources required in order to start the production of building, unit or ship.
UraniumAmount of radioactive isotopes in your colony warehouses, or fleets cargo space. In production, it is the amount of resources required in order to start the production of building, unit or ship.
Stored resourcesTotal amount of stored resources - minerals, chemicals and uranium altogether.
Warehouse capacityCapacity of the colonies warehouses - limit of how much resources (minerals, chemicals, uranium) you can store in your colony. When you exceed the storage limit, resources will gradually perish in time, until they drop to the limit.
Living capacityCapacity of the colonies Living quarters - limit of how much population you can accomodate in your colony. When you exceed the capacity limit, population will gradually perish in time, until it drops to the limit.
Gold DebenVirtual currency used for some advanced research - very rare in the galaxy, almost impossible to mine, but it can be imported into the world of Colonize.online by other means.
Silver Deben1/100 fraction of the Gold Deben, rare virtual currency.

Military

IconNameDescription
Small platformRepresents counters for Small platforms in the colony, or as part of trade - either as an offer, or an ongoing transaction.
Large platformRepresents counters for Large platforms in the colony, or as part of trade - either as an offer, or an ongoing transaction.
Space stationCurrent total number of Space stations in the colony. This number includes also all the stations that are based on custom designs.
FighterRepresents counters for Fighters in the colony, in the fleet, or as part of trade - either as an offer, or an ongoing transaction.
BomberRepresents counters for Bombers in the colony, in the fleet, or as part of trade - either as an offer, or an ongoing transaction.
SpaceshipCurrent total number of Spaceships in the colony, or in the fleet. Icon is also used for Tradeport and Spaceport where it represents amount of trade fleets.
Explosive bombRepresents counters for Explosive bombs in the colony, in the fleet, or as part of trade - either as an offer, or an ongoing transaction.
Biological warheadRepresents counters for Biological warheads in the colony, in the fleet, or as part of trade - either as an offer, or an ongoing transaction.
Nuclear warheadRepresents counters for Nuclear warheads in the colony, in the fleet, or as part of trade - either as an offer, or an ongoing transaction.
Player fleetPlayers fleets icon - represents amount of players fleets in the system, or one particular players fleet on the Starmap. On other players colony Defense grid tile, it represents amount of home (colony owner) fleets.
Friendly fleetFriendly fleets visiting other players colony - basically it means that these have defensive stance.
Enemy fleetThese fleets are in aggresive stance, when located in the system, or unknown while traveling on the StarMap.

Unit attributes

IconNameDescription
HpHit points, or hull points - measure of hull strength or objects integrity.
ArmorStrength of armor protection. Armor is usually metalic, or alloy based protective layer on the surface of the object.
ShieldsStrength of kinetic or energy shields. It is an energy barrier surrounding the object that is capable of blocking out any other energy, even kinetic one in a form of projectile or rock. Most important benefit however is the ability to shield the object from radiation.
KineticKinetic type of weapons - projectiles that cause kinetic damage upon impact.
ExplosiveMostly chemical types of weapons - torpedoes, or missiles that cause explosion of a kind upon impact.
EnergyEnergy based weaponry like lasers, directed radiation, or plasma.
SpeedObjects speed, specified in a scale of 1/10 of the speed of light.
Cargo spaceCargo capacity of the ship, or whole fleet (population, minerals, chemicals, uranium)
Weapons capacityShips or fleets storage capacity for a siege weapons (explosive bomb, nuclear or biological warheads)
Units capacityShips or fleets ability to accomodate smaller military craft, like fighters, bombers, or drop ships.
Upgrade slotsSpecifies the amount of upgradeable slots on the ship. You can install modules there. First 10 are always standard size, next 5 are large and if the hull has more than 15, the rest is huge-sized.

Buildings

IconNameDescription
ConstructionUsually represents amount of Construction buildings in the colony, or amount required in order to be able to build specific building. On the research details tab this icon represents new construction option unlocked by the research.
FactoryUsually represents amount of Factories in the colony, or amount required in order to be able to produce specific unit, or weapon. On the research details tab this icon represents new unit or weapon option unlocked by the research.
Orbital drydockUsually represents amount of Orbital drydocs in the colony, or amount required in order to be able to build specific station, or spaceship. On the research details tab this icon represents new ship, or station class unlocked by the research.
Research labAmount of Research labs in the colony, or on the Research lab tile it represents current research speed. On the research details tab this icon represents further research unlocked by the viewed one.
Space sensorsAmount of Space sensor buildings in the colony.
Defense gridAmount of Defense grid buildings in the colony.
Hyperspace gateDisplayed in case the colony has a Hyperspace gate constructed.
Blink effect inhibitorDisplayed in case the colony has a Blink effect inhibitor construted.

Research
